StoremyLuggage Kenya (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the website storemyluggage.co.ke and provides luggage storage, delivery, and Land & Leave services across Kenya. Our contact email is booking@storemyluggage.co.ke and our phone/WhatsApp number is 0716 017 037.

2. Information We Collect

When you make a booking, we collect the following information:

  • Full name, email address, and phone number
  • Passport or ID photo (optional, for identity verification purposes)
  • Pickup and delivery addresses
  • Bag contents description (optional)
  • Special requests and instructions

We do not collect payment card details directly. Payments are processed via M-Pesa or bank transfer, and we do not store your M-Pesa PIN or bank credentials.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Process and confirm your luggage booking
  • Send booking confirmations, invoices, and service updates via WhatsApp and email
  • Verify your identity when you collect your bags
  • Contact you in case of queries or issues with your booking
  • Improve our services and website experience

4. Data Security

Your data is stored securely in our database (Supabase), which uses industry-standard encryption. Passport photos are stored in a private, encrypted storage bucket accessible only to authorised StoremyLuggage staff. We do not sell, share, or trade your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Your Luggage Security

StoremyLuggage takes full responsibility for the physical security of all bags in our care. All stations are equipped with CCTV monitoring. All bags are stored in locked, access-controlled areas. Bags are released only to the named booking holder upon presentation of valid photo ID and the booking reference. We are fully accountable for any loss, damage, or theft of items in our custody. 6. How Long We Retain Your Data

Booking data is retained for 12 months for operational and accounting purposes, then deleted. Passport photos are deleted within 30 days of service completion. You may request earlier deletion by emailing us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at booking@storemyluggage.co.ke.

8. Cookies

Our website uses minimal, functional cookies to improve user experience. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to book services.
